Conscious Millionaire

Greetings and welcome!

I have been reading books, articles, and reviewing the market action, including the charts the past month. One of the reasons I work with people to achieve financial freedom through how they handle their finances and build their businesses is that this is my passion. I can stay up all night reviewing charts, taking in the information and developing a view of what is occurring.

I have divided this into 3 Phases. We are now in the first phase.

PHASE 1 = bank/credit crunch with government response. Early stage of bear market.

PHASE 2 = global recession/down turn that may last 2-3 years. It will be shorter than it could have been if the world governments had not acted in the past few weeks. At the same time, I expect it will still be deep and prolonged. US unemployment should reach 8-9% by spring 2009 and I still believe that housing has 10-20% more on the downside in many places.

We will go through many more foreclosures, business failures, and credit collapses, especially of individual credit situations as the majority of people are over-extended and new credit will be harder to obtain as this downturn progresses.

PHASE 3 = recovery. As this is the longest projection, it is the one most subject to revision depending on how Phase 2 unfolds. Currently I believe we will be in recovery starting 2-4 years out.

How should you respond?

I have decided to devote the next series of blog entries to providing you with ways to approach your small business, personal finances and maintain the right mental/emotional framework. This is important because instead of going into a place of fear, which is NOT resourceful, you go into a place where you SEE the MANY OPPORTUNITIES that will ABOUND in this environment.

Many NEW millionaires result from the opportunities that are already all around YOU.

For now, consider the three phases and start to make a list of what the NEEDS and WANTS other people will be as this downturn unfolds. That, my friend, is your starting secret for turning hard times into millionaire success - and helping others get what they need in the process!

Take out your check book and write yourself a check in the amount of $1,000,000.00 - One Million Dollars.

How does that feel?

Now Date it for a date and time in the future when you want to be able to cash it - as money you have earned for doing something specific. Maybe it is owning your own business, or being a Super Sales Person, or using your talents in a specific way.

On the check write the date and on the line below the amount, the memo line, write down the reason you are getting paid this much - what you did to get this.

Put it in your wallet - every day ask yourself what you will do today so that you can be certain to cash that check on the date you chose.

Yeah - you just planted a seed that can grow into a Million Dollars. You just made a shift in your Wealth Consciousness.
